We fought hard for $250 million for the Salton Sea, pushing the U.S. government for a victory that protects our health, environment, and community.
Powering Progress
We’ve given back $10+ million for energy efficiency and bill assistance, unlocked $17 million in savings every year on energy costs, and stopped special interest deals.
To improve our community, we are planting 1,000+ free shade trees at homes every year, replacing aging infrastructure, and preventing power outages with new funding.
Water Security
Water is Life in Imperial Valley — without it, we have nothing. Imperial Valley will lead the charge in Colorado River drought negotiations and set the terms ourselves.
At the table with 7 states, the U.S. government, and Mexico, we’ll fight for sustainable solutions that protect our community from record drought.
Fair Power Bills
We're rolling up our sleeves to overhaul outdated electric rates that have hit hard-working families with sky-high summer bills.
Our plan means summer electric bills won't break the bank anymore. We'll even out the summer and winter’s highs and lows, making sure our monthly bills are reasonable year-round for our families.
